lavender syrup:
For Lemonade:
Combine the water and sugar and dried lavender in a small saucepan over medium high heat. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer and stir to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat, cover and let steep for 30 minutes-1 hour. Strain out the lavender and chill syrup until ready to use.
For the lemonade, combine lemon juice, 4 cups of water, and lavender syrup. Serve over ice with fresh lavender sprig and a mint sprig, if desired. Adjust lemon and sugar levels to your taste. Add a splash of Gin for a refreshing cocktail.
