The Secret Life of Bees and Luncheon 04-20-24

Location: Mystic Sky Ranch, midway between Dripping Springs and Blanco

Join us for another Bee learning journey!  We will gather in the Kitchen for drinks and snacks with our special guest, Georgia Miguez.

We are thrilled to have her share her knowledge! Georgia Miguez is a passionate advocate for nature and has cultivated a deep connection with the

Texas Hill Country through her love of native plants, honey bees and other crucial pollinators. As the founder of Sister Creek Hives, she pioneers BeeLease, a service initiative to restore habitats and preserve the region’s natural beauty. Her journey, sparked three months before a breast cancer diagnosis, transformed into a source of healing, gratitude, and a mission to teach chemical-free beekeeping practices.

Georgia will give a presentation and answer your questions about the bee world.  Willing participants can suit up and visit the bee yard with Georgia.  We will return to the Kitchen for a Bee Inspired Luncheon presented by Sibby Barrett of Onion Creek Kitchens at Juniper Hills Farm.
