Dear
Sibby---- We have returned home--Well, I looked and looked for
my "treat box" this am and yesterday am and no one brought one
by!! I picked up some orange cranberry scones late today but
nothing like you made us each am and these were cold! We are
still talking about how good they were! Do you have a recipe
book? We
can't sing enough praises about our week end at Juniper Farm!!
We had waited so long for it and were afraid we had built it
up too much----but it WAS BETTER!!! WE loved the security of
the place so we could feel free to hike and wander around. We
loved the food and the cabin---oh my gosh---the cabin and
outdoor shower what a treat!!! And then cooking in your
home----it was truly like coming to visit a relative or having
a party with friends and everyone gathering in the kitchen to
cook and eat! We felt so at ease and so WELCOME!! Our fish was
just the best! You were a great teacher and hostess!
Thank you, Thank
you!!! It was wonderful---we have not come back to earth yet!!
Vanessa headed back to Dumas and we stayed on the phone all
week so empowered now to try lots of new foods and combos. It
was really a great weekend---and Mother's Day to boot!!
Missing Juniper Farms and the wonderful lifestyle you have!!
Thanks for sharing!
Most sincerely,
Linda Vanaman
"The first time I was
at Juniper Hills Farms and Onion Creek Kitchens was for a
Friend's Party. The drive out there from Austin alone was
beautiful and put me in a good mood. The house is beautiful--
gives the effect of open air all around looking out on the
beautiful surroundings. Giving a peaceful feeling. The food
was outstanding! Beautifully presented and delicious. I took
the entire rest of the day so I could at least taste
everything. Inquiring about different dishes the chef made
everything sound easy to prepare. Made me want to learn to
cook" Bettie Naylor
"What a wonderful evening! I can't tell you how very
much I enjoyed the cooking class last Saturday. You have such
a beautiful place and it was so much fun to meet you, see your
wonderful home and learn so much about cooking---and eating!
Keep us on your mailing list!"
Cissy Ellis
"Sibby, you have taken
a beautiful property and turned it into a glorious site.
Every time we drive through your gates we are instantly at
peace and in awe of the surroundings. I can't wait for
the next class!"
John Kerrigan
"Thank you so much
for the wonderful dinner last evening-my husband and I had a
blast-everything from the location to the wines to the
terrific dinner was fabulous and meeting everyone was a
treasure--do keep us posted on your cookbook and new
products."

"Dear Sibby, In
February, Rob and I considered booking a southern European
vacation. We decided to pay off our home renovations
instead. So, what an unexpected surprise to experience the
Provence of Texas--complete with lavender fields, olive farms,
vineyards and fresh produce. Your home and the surrounding
countryside exude a warmth and beauty. We didn't feel at all
like tourists; but, your personal guests. Thank you!"
Mary Beth and Rob
"We are still talking
about our truly memorable evening with you, your gracious
hospitality and generosity."
Carol and Chris Adams
"The tart cooking class
was soooo wonderful! We had a great time and can't wait to
sign up for another one!" Karen L. Kahan
"We had such a
wonderful time Saturday evening, we couldn't stop talking
about it the entire weekend. We told all of our friends
about it and they can't wait to try it out. (this would
be a perfect idea for a friend's birthday) Your house is
beautiful and your idea of classes is brilliant! We have
been wanting to take a cooking class for a very long time and
are glad we started with you. Everyone in the group was
very nice and lots of fun as well. I even received some
pictures that Jim took of the class. Anyway, I just
wanted to say congratulations on all of your success in this,
your bakery and in life. I really look up to your
accomplishments. Thanks again for a memorable evening."
Tina Castillo
"Thank you all so
much for the "rest stop" sleep over. Juniper Hills Farm
is wonderful. It is very obvious that a great deal of
love and care was fostered to build your space. I hope
to join in a retreat soon. Namaste" Cheryl Johnson
"Thank
you so much for the wonderful evening. All the dishes
were delicious and thank you for the recipes. It was fun
having family and friends together. I know Amy will
enjoy the Yule Log class. Hope to see you again soon.
Have a great Thanksgiving week." Margaret Thompson
"Thank you so much
for all your attention on our stay at your beautiful place.
We are already planning another trip when the pool is
completed! Everything was so perfect. I am so
blessed to be your friend." Mike Davis
"Thank you so much for your warmth and hospitality! It was far
more than a cooking class-it was an experience for the senses!
Until next time...." Pat Hernandez
"If you ever need a
testimonial for the website, cooking classes, recipes, here's
one from me. After my mom and I took the Cooking with Herbs
class, I proceeded to make almost every recipe we learned in
the class. My herb garden is now a staple for my cooking. The
lemon rosemary cookies get rave reviews everywhere I take
them, I used the basil oil for our client holiday gifts last
year and the herbed butters for gifts this year. Everyone
asks, "Did you MAKE these?" Thanks for giving me the tools to
be able to answer, "Why Yes!" Christy Seals
Dear Sibby,
How do I thank you for all the hospitality and instruction for
the Richardson's Women's Club Gourmet Class? We made it back
to Richardson just fine but there were no warm scones
yesterday morning. What a treat! The class experience was more
than I expected (inexperience) and my did we learn and enjoy
the food. I am currently looking for some of the ingredients;
making my way to buy a lemon juicer like yours; and have the
chicken thawed for the cutlets for tonight.
The ladies are planning a scaled down replicate of our
experience at Onion Creek Farms for the remaining 32 woman who
belong to our group. I will be traveling with my husband at
the time of the April meeting.
You are the top not only with cooking, hostessing and as a
business woman but also very skilled in leading 11 women!!
Thank you for your leadership last Thursday. Everyone wants to
come back. And so do I. What a trip that would be for my
Granddaughter and me.
Just as soon as I get the photos via attachment I will
forwarded them to you.
Fondly,
LaRuth Morrow
"Thanks again for making this
beautiful place to stay. We'll not soon forget our short time
here. For your Texas hospitality, for all the effort that goes
into cooking classes and for maintaining Juniper Hills farm,
we're grateful to have experienced it!"
