Austin, San Antonio and the surrounding Hill Country areas are jam-packed with small farms and businesses that are run by hardworking, dedicated entrepreneurs.  Here is a listing of just some of the farms and markets you might want to visit. McCall Creek Farms Market  4524 N US Hwy 281  just outside of Blanco

Sweet Berry Farm  1801 FM 1980 (Tobeyville Rd) 1.2 miles past Hwy 1431- 830-798-1462  Marble Falls  Pick your own strawberries, blackberries, potatoes, plums—They even have a corn field shaped like the state of Texas! 

Wimberley Lavender Farm is located on Ranch Road 2325, between RR 165 and Wimberley
They will be open from 9-6 both days of the Blanco Lavender Festival and are open some weekends during the growing season for tours and "cut your own lavender days." Call to confirm a visit.

Apples, blackberries, persimmons, figs and peaches encompass this quaint orchard.  Call for reservations, sometimes on Friday nights from 6:30-9:30 they serve “Grill Thrill”, featuring quail, salmon, and chicken. Great homemade desserts!

Peaches: For a full listing of over 25 roadside stands and pick your own farms in our area for peaches, blackberries, vegetables, home made jams, jellies and baked goods.  http://www.texaspeaches.com  Peach Harvests are usually middle of May thru middle of August.

Texas Specialty Cut Flowers  The Arnosky Family Farm-farm stand located at the corner of RR 165 and RR2325 8 miles east of Blanco, Texas for fresh flowers, produce, goat cheese and more!

The world’s largest wildflower farm.  Biergarten serving beer, wine, homemade ice cream, tacos.  Market with wildflower and Texas themed gifts, bird related products, pots, plants and, of course, seeds.
